Performers

Boyslashfriend

Shan Poo aka Boyslashfriend is a New York City singer/songwriter with a heavy heart for 90’s R&B, and a forward mind for the future in dance music. Continuing to seduce young ladies in the bedroom as well as in the club, Boyslashfriend’s growth is driven by every word and truth injected into his music

Fire Alarm

The dancehall collaboration between Proper Villains and Metric Man.

FIRE ALARM is the collaboration between veteran dance music producer Proper Villains and seasoned Trinidadian vocalist Metric Man. Their early collaborations quickly became releases on Fire Power and Play Me, earning support from the likes of Zed’s Dead and Flosstradamus.

Proper Villains brings the experience of almost two decades of New York dance music, from Giuliani-era raves to basement dubstep on through today. A versatile talent in his own right, Metric Man is comfortable crooning or chanting, with two mixtapes and releases on Burn the Fire, Easy Star and Reel Me to his name. Together, the duo distill dancehall riddims and heavy bass into something cohesive and new: FIRE ALARM is a force to be reckoned with and their full mixtape is a wild journey.

Zeemuffin

Investment banker turned DJ, ZEEMUFFIN (Zainab Hasnain) is baking up fresh sounds all around New York City. Born in Pakistan and raised in New York, her impressive knowledge of music speaks to her diverse roots. In an industry dominated by men, she has carved a unique space for herself as a go-to hip hop DJ.

Performers

Max Glazer

DJ Max Glazer has risen to the top of New York's club scene and proven himself to be one of the most versatile DJs on the scene. As far as the clubs go, Max is on a roll. Holding down residencies at two of New York's most well respected night-spots, Spa and Chaos, he spins for no less than a thousand of New York's most critical club-goers each night.

Teleseen

Drawing influences from music as diverse as ethio-jazz, afro house, samba and dub techno, Teleseen stitches a strikingly original blend of old and new sounds into a danceable mix. The primary project of producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ Gabriel Cyr, draws on a wide range of collaborators, to create productions that make equal use of programming and live instrumentation.

Tangina Stone

A little bit of rock, a little bit of soul, she's a singer, songwriter and performer from Brooklyn, New York. Great artists find a way to maintain a seamless connection to the past while creating work that shapes our idea of the future. Tangina Stone has heard the voices of her musical ancestors, and answers with a new sound that is important, potent, and significant.

Mr. White

Mister White is a producer, DJ, and Club Mate fan from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Mister White loves vinyl, MIDI controllers, and advocates for the Pleasure Principle. In addition to holding down residencies and spinning guest sets in NYC at Verboten, Lot 45, Kinfolk, Apotheke, No. 8, Sub-Mercer, Hotel Americano, and the Lincoln Center Mister White is capable behind the boards. He’s knocking out remixes, original beats, and mash-ups consistently.

Willem Wolfe

Disco House and infectious grooves by Californian producer Willem Wolfe

Performers

Zuzuka Poderosa

ZUZUKA collaborates and releases singles with producers from all over the world who mix the past with the future in Sur America-cosmic new ways. She raps and sings in Portuguese, Spanish, English and she likes to say “Body Language”, musing provocatively and sarcastically over boomy electric kick drums and Latin percussion.

Kush Arora

Kush Arora is a music producer and DJ from San Francisco. His path to music meandered through metal, punk, goth, bhangra and industrial music and landed him in the swarm of reggae, tropical, and cultural bass music landscape of today. Arora has collaborated with revered American and British MC's to produce powerful, vocal-centered dubwise bass music.
